The Sandbox Program: University of Guelph
Eko Nomos has facilitated two instances of the Sandbox Program, a collaboration between the John F. Wood Centre for Student Entrepreneurship and the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute. In the program, graduate students at Guelph University learn about social enterprise development and planning through a series of 12 workshops. The students then work in teams with community-based charities and non-profits to perform primary and secondary research assessing the feasibility of community-identified social enterprise opportunities.
