The Corporation of Perth County and the Local Community Food Centre (CFC) engaged Eko Nomos, Eco-Ethonomics, and C Lang Consulting to explore the feasibility of a regional food distribution hub that would serve as a central distribution point for fresh, local and sustainably produced food in the area. The food hub is to operate as a non-profit social enterprise that builds on the existing assets of the CFC on Erie Street in Stratford. The feasibility study was made possible by the award of a grant from the J. W. McConnell Foundation.
